Hale CE uses School Spider, a parent engagement software, to make sure our parents are as closely involved with their children’s school lives as possible.
All school related communication, newsletters, club bookings and payments go through School Spider – it is the central hub of information for our parents – so to stay up to date with what’s going on at school make sure you download the app for free. Just search School Gateway in your App store and download.
Your login details will be automatically generated using the contact information Hale CE already has, so please make sure the details we hold for you are up to date. You can check and change these details by sending an email to admin.hale@haltonlearning.net
School Hub
We hope this will enable the process of choosing and paying for your child’s lunch at Hale CE Primary School easier for you as a parent and the school.
Orian's school meals team create a great menu of fresh, home-cooked and nutritionally balanced meals every day including a range of different fresh-baked breads.
Orian have introduced School Hub, which is an online ordering and payment system, parents and children can go online and choose meals together, in advance and pay for meals online, you can simply top-up your balance when you need to.
If you have not had the time to pre-order in advance with your child, they will still have the chance to choose their meal first thing in the morning, using Lunch Shop’s specially designed system in the classroom.
The advantages of School Hub for children and parents are clear:
– you can top up your school meals balance whenever is convenient for you using a secure online payment system and there’s no need to bring cash or cheques into school and you can choose, alongside your child, what they would like to eat or leave the choice with them
– all meals taken by a child will be visible on your account so you will be able to see what they ate for lunch that day.
– Nutrition and Allergy information will be linked to your account.
